Shrimp & Crab Pasta with Creamy Cajun Sauce 🍤

Ingredients:

8 oz pasta (your choice)
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 lb crab meat
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté for about 2 minutes until softened.
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan.
Stir in the heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Add the crab meat to the sauce and cook for an additional 2 minutes, then return the shrimp to the skillet.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta in the creamy Cajun sauce.
Stir in butter and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
