Fruit Tart Recipe
Tart Shell:
Mix 1 1/4 cups flour, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, and 1/2 cup cold butter. Add 1–2 tbsp cold water to form dough, chill, roll, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 min.
Pastry Cream:
Heat 1 cup milk with 1 tsp vanilla. Whisk 3 egg yolks, 1/4 cup sugar, and 2 tbsp cornstarch. Combine, cook until thick, stir in 1 tbsp butter, and chill.
Assemble:
Fill tart shell with cream, top with fresh fruit (strawberries, kiwis, mangoes, blackberries) and optional glaze (apricot jam + water).
Chill & Serve:
Refrigerate, slice, and enjoy!
