Orange Dreamsicle Bundt Cake
Ingredients
For the Orange Batter:
1 box orange cake mix (15.25 oz)
1 box instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)
4 large eggs
1 cup orange soda (or orange juice)
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup sour cream
1 tbsp orange zest
For the Vanilla Swirl Batter:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp flour
Glaze:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp butter, softened
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp orange juice (adjust for consistency)
½ tsp vanilla extract
Optional: extra orange zest for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
Make orange batter: In a large bowl, mix cake mix, pudding, eggs, orange soda, oil, sour cream, and zest until smooth.
Make vanilla swirl batter: Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla, and flour until creamy and thick.
Assemble swirl: Pour half the orange batter into the pan. Drop spoonfuls of the vanilla swirl mixture over it. Gently swirl with a knife (don’t overmix—just a few figure-8 motions). Add remaining orange batter on top, then more vanilla dollops. Swirl lightly again.
Bake 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes in pan, then invert onto a rack.
Glaze: Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth, add powdered sugar, then orange juice and vanilla until pourable. Drizzle over cooled cake. Sprinkle zest if desired.
