Creamy Cajun Chicken Bowtie Pasta
Ingredients:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound bowtie pasta
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Directions:
1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
2. Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until smooth. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth and thickened.
4. Reduce heat to low. Add Velveeta cheese and cream cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Stir in mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
5. Stir in garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika. Add cooked chicken and pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
6. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and sauce has thickened.
7. Serve immediately.
