These cookies have a soft texture like Keebler's.
SOFT BATCH CHOCOLATE CHIP
4 sticks butter
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. molasses
2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp, baking soda
5 cups all-purpose flour
1 12oz bag of chocolate chips (milk or dark)
Preheat oven 375 degrees F.
Cream the butter, eggs, molasses, vanilla and milk in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl whisk together sugars, baking powder, baking soda, and flour, add to wet mixture, mixing after each addition. Mix till well incorporated, add chocolate chips. Using a teaspoon or a cookie scoop for dough into 1" balls and place onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes.
