Old-Fashioned Beef Rissoles
Ingredients:
500g beef mince
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp tomato sauce (ketchup)
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp oil (for frying)
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix beef mince, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Shape the mixture into small patties.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook rissoles for 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
Serve with mashed potatoes, gravy, or a side salad.
