Slow Cooker Ham & Bean Soup🥣😋
Ingredients:
2 cups diced cooked ham
2 cans (15 oz each) great northern or cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
3 carrots, sliced
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 small onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
4 cups chicken broth
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp black pepper
1 bay leaf
Optional: a pinch of smoked paprika or parsley for serving
Directions:
1. In a slow cooker, add all ingredients and stir to combine.
2. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
3. Remove the bay leaf, give it a taste, and adjust seasoning if needed.
4. Serve hot with crusty bread or cornbread!
