Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna
Ingredients:
1 (25 oz) bag of frozen ravioli (cheese or beef)
1 (24 oz) jar of marinara or pasta sauce
1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage (optional)
1 cup ricotta cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Directions:
If using ground meat, cook it in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray.
Spoon a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the crockpot.
Add a single layer of frozen ravioli.
Top with a portion of cooked meat (if using), spoonfuls of ricotta (if using), shredded mozzarella, and a sprinkle of parmesan.
Repeat layers: sauce, ravioli, meat, cheeses—until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, or until ravioli is tender and heated through.
Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
