Crispy Parmesan-Crusted Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Brussels sprouts: Trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half lengthwise.
Toss with olive oil: In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Make the crust: In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Coat the Brussels sprouts: Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture evenly over the Brussels sprouts, pressing lightly so the breadcrumbs stick.
Roast: Arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
