π Ingredients:
For the Meatballs:
β’ 1 lb ground beef
β’ 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
β’ 1 egg
β’ 1 tsp garlic powder
β’ 1 tsp onion powder
β’ Salt & pepper to taste
For the Mashed Potatoes:
β’ 4 large potatoes, peeled & diced
β’ 3 tbsp butter
β’ 1/3 cup milk
β’ Salt & pepper to taste
Extras:
β’ 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
β’ 1 cup beef gravy (homemade or store-bought)
β’ Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
π©βπ³ Directions:
Preheat oven to 375Β°F.
Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (about 15 minutes). Drain, mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into small meatballs.
Bake meatballs on a sheet for 15β18 minutes or until cooked through.
In a greased casserole dish, layer mashed potatoes, then place meatballs on top.
Drizzle with warm gravy, then sprinkle with cheese.
Bake uncovered for 10β12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
