🥩 Steak Bites and Mac N Cheese
Ingredients:
For the Steak Bites:
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (optional)
For the Mac N Cheese:
8 oz elbow macaroni
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Boil macaroni in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Make the Cheese Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and stir until thickened. Add cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until melted and smooth. Combine with cooked pasta.
Cook Steak Bites:
Season steak cubes with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Add steak and sear 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Reduce heat, add butter and garlic, and cook another minute, spooning butter over steak.
Serve Together:
Spoon steak bites over the mac and cheese. Garnish with parsley if desired.
