๐๐ฅ Sticky BBQ Party Wings ๐ฏ๐
Fall-off-the-bone juicy with crispy skin and a sweet โn smoky BBQ glaze that sticks to your soul (and your fingers). These wings come with a warning: highly addictive. ๐ฎโ๐จ๐ฅ
๐ Ingredients:
For the Wings:
3 lbs chicken wings (split & tips removed)
1 tbsp baking powder (for that CRISP factor)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
Oil spray (optional for air fryer)
For the Sticky BBQ Glaze:
1 cup BBQ sauce (your fave)
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp hot sauce (adjust to your heat level)
1 tbsp butter
Optional: chopped parsley or green onion for garnish
๐ฅ Instructions:
1. Prep the Wings:
Pat wings completely dry with paper towels.
Toss with baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt & pepper.
Let them rest for 15โ20 mins while you preheat the oven to 425ยฐF (or air fryer to 400ยฐF).
2. Bake or Air Fry:
Lay wings on a rack over a baking sheet (or in a single air fryer layer).
Bake for 40โ45 mins, flipping halfway โ until golden, crispy, and sizzling.
Air fryer: 22โ25 mins, flip halfway.
3. Make the Sauce:
In a saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, honey, brown sugar, hot sauce & butter.
Simmer on low for 5โ8 minutes until thick and glossy.
4. Toss & Coat:
Once wings are done, toss them in the sauce while hot.
Let 'em soak. Let 'em shine. Hit with garnish if you're feelin' extra.
