Ingredients:
4 oz Midori (melon liqueur)
4 oz Coconut Rum (like Malibu)
2 oz Pineapple Juice (chilled, optional for extra tropical punch)
1 oz Heavy Cream or Coconut Cream (for that smooth, creamy top layer)
Ice cubes
Garnish:
Pineapple wedge
Maraschino cherry
Optional: shredded coconut on the rim
Instructions:
Fill a shaker with ice.
Add Midori, coconut rum, and (optionally) pineapple juice to the shaker.
Shake well for 10β15 seconds until chilled and combined.
Strain the mixture into a tall chilled glass (like a hurricane or highball glass) filled with ice.
Slowly pour the cream (or coconut cream) over the back of a spoon to float on top. This creates the iconic layered look.
Garnish with a pineapple wedge and cherry on top.
Tips to Elevate:
For a frozen version, blend everything with crushed ice instead of shaking.
