🍝 Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread Bowls
Ingredients:
4 large bread bowls (or small round loaves of bread)
2 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and diced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Bread Bowls:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cut the tops off the bread bowls and hollow them out, leaving about a 1-inch border.
Place the empty bread bowls on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until slightly crispy.
2️⃣ Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until the sauce thickens and the cheese is melted, about 5-7 minutes.
3️⃣ Combine Chicken and Sauce:
Add the diced chicken to the sauce and stir to coat. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
4️⃣ Fill the Bread Bowls:
Spoon the creamy chicken Alfredo mixture into the toasted bread bowls, filling each generously.
5️⃣ Serve:
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
