Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries (patted dry)
1/2 cup white chocolate chips or chunks (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in almond and vanilla extract, then gradually add flour and salt.
Fold in cherries and white chocolate chips if using.
Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are just set. Cool completely.
