PARMESAN GARLIC CHICKEN WITH CAJUN CREAM PENNE

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
12 oz penne pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside to rest before slicing into strips.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, scraping the pan to release any flavorful bits. Stir in smoked paprika and Parmesan cheese, letting it melt into the sauce and thicken.

Top with sliced chicken, stirring gently to combine.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
