Ingredients:
For the Fritters:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup whole milk
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 cups peeled, diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work great)
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Prepare the Batter:
Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently fold in the diced apples.
Shape the Fritters:
Scoop about 1/4 cup of the batter and drop onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each fritter. Shape slightly into a round mound if needed.
Bake:
