Beef & Rotini in Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
Hey friends, this is one of those meals that feels like a warm hug. Tender beef and curly rotini swim in a rich garlic and Parmesan sauce. It comes together in about thirty minutes and always disappears fast. Let’s dive in.
Ingredients
1. 1 pound ground beef
2. 8 ounces rotini pasta
3. 2 tablespoons butter
4. 4 cloves garlic, minced
5. 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
6. 2 cups milk
7. 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8. Salt and pepper to taste
9. Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add rotini and cook until just tender. Drain and set aside.
2. In the same pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no pink remains. Season with a little salt and pepper. Drain off excess fat.
3. Push the beef to one side and melt butter in the cleared space. Add garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
4. Sprinkle flour over the garlic and beef, stirring well for about a minute. This helps thicken the sauce.
5. Slowly pour in milk while whisking constantly. Let it simmer for two to three minutes until it starts to thicken.
6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Taste and add more salt or pepper if needed.
7. Return the cooked rotini to the pot and toss gently so every curl is coated.
8. Serve hot, sprinkle with chopped parsley for a bit of color and freshness.
This dish is perfect for cozy weeknight dinners or sharing with friends. Enjoy every creamy bite!
