An irresistible combination: coconut and chocolate together in an amazing dessert!
Coconut Delight with Chocolate
Ingredients:
Coconut layer:
1 can of condensed milk
200 ml of coconut milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup of grated coconut (fresh or sugar without sugar)
Chocolate layer:
200 g of dark or milk chocolate, chopped
1 box of sour cream (200 g)
Preparation:
Coconut layer: In a pan, mix condensed milk, coconut milk, butter and grated coconut. Bring to medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture shakes the bottom of the pan, forming a thicker cream (like a spoon brigadeiro). Pour the coconut cream into a platter and spread evenly. Reserve.
Chocolate Layer: Melt the dark chocolate in a water bath or in the microwave (at 30 seconds, stirring each interval so as not to burn). Once melted, mix the cream until smooth and shiny.
Assembly: Pour the chocolate layer over the coconut layer on the platter and spread it with a spatula to level.
Finalization: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until the dessert is firm. Decorate with coconut or chocolate shavings if desired.
