Ingredients:
1 lb Italian sausage (casings removed)
2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
1 yellow onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
½ tsp fennel seeds
Salt, pepper & red pepper flakes (optional)
Crusty bread or pasta for serving
Directions:
In a skillet, heat oil and sauté sausage until browned. Add peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook until soft. Stir in crushed tomatoes and fennel seeds. Simmer for 15–20 minutes. Season to taste.
