Irresistible Pecan Pie Bark – A Sweet Treat You Can’t Resist

Graham crackers (approximately 12–15 full sheets)
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted or salted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups pecan halves or coarsely chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt (optional or to taste)
Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 13×9-inch baking pan or cookie sheet with aluminum foil and lightly butter or grease it.
Prepare the Cracker Base:
2. Arrange graham crackers in a single layer on the prepared pan, breaking pieces to fit as needed.
Make the Caramel Pecan Topping:
3. In a saucepan, melt butter with brown sugar (and salt if using) over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a rolling boil and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Assemble and Bake:
5. Sprinkle pecans evenly over the graham crackers.
6. Pour the hot sugar-butter mixture over the pecans and crackers, spreading evenly.
7. Bake for 10 minutes, or until bubbly and fragrant.
Cool & Serve:
8. Cool completely at room temperature until set.
9. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
