Pecan Pie Dump Cake 🥧😋
Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
3 large eggs
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups pecan halves
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
Stir in the pecan halves, then pour the entire mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top of the pecan filling. Do not mix.
Gently drizzle a little extra melted butter (optional) over any dry spots in the cake mix to help it bake evenly.
Bake for 45–50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
Allow to cool slightly before serving. Delicious served warm with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Use a spoon to gently press the cake mix into the filling for a more uniform topping.
Let rest 15–20 minutes after baking so the filling can thicken slightly before serving.
