Classic Soft & Fluffy Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients (Dough):
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2¼ tsp) instant yeast
1 cup warm milk
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 egg
¼ cup unsalted butter (softened)
½ tsp salt
Filling:
½ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
¼ cup butter (softened)
Cream Cheese Frosting:
4 oz cream cheese
¼ cup butter (softened)
1 cup powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 mins.
Add egg, butter, salt, and flour. Knead into a soft dough. Let rise 1 hour.
Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread butter, sprinkle sugar & cinnamon.
Roll tightly, cut into 12 rolls. Place in greased pan. Let rise 30 mins.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 mins.
Mix frosting ingredients and spread on warm rolls.
