Butter Pecan Praline Poke Cake

Ingredients:

- 1 (15 oz) box butter pecan cake mix
- 1 (16 oz) can coconut pecan frosting
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cup vegetable or canola oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (for sauce)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine the butter pecan cake mix, eggs, oil, and milk. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes until well blended.
3. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
4. While the cake is baking, prepare the sauce by melting the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup chopped pecans, stirring constantly until combined and warm. Remove from heat.
5. When the cake is done, immediately poke holes all over the top using the handle of a wooden spoon or a skewer. Pour the warm pecan sauce evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak in.
6. Let the cake cool completely. Spread the coconut pecan frosting over the top just before serving.
