Baking Soda Glowing Winter Tree in a Jar 🌲💡
Supplies:
- Clear glass jar or plastic container
- Small artificial pine tree or twig (mini craft tree)
- Baking soda (about 1–2 cups)
- Vinegar (for fizzing snow reaction)
- Glitter or mica powder (silver, white, or iridescent)
- Glow powder, glow paint, or small LED tealight
- Optional: fake snow or Epsom salt for added texture
- Small spoon or funnel
Directions:
1. Place your mini tree inside the jar, securing it upright with a bit of glue or snow at the base.
2. Pour baking soda around the tree to create a soft, snowy landscape — about 1 inch deep.
3. Sprinkle glitter or mica powder over the top for sparkle.
4. (Optional) Mix in glow powder or glow paint with the baking soda for a luminous snow effect.
5. Carefully pour or drop vinegar onto the baking soda “snow” — it will fizz like falling snow in motion!
6. After the reaction, tuck a small LED tealight behind or under the jar for a glowing winter night effect.
7. Display in a dark room and watch your glowing winter tree sparkle and bubble like a miniature blizzard!
