Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Bites
Ingredients
1 (16.3 oz) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (8-count or 10-count works—see tip)
½ cup (1 stick / 113g) unsalted butter
¾ cup granulated sugar
2½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
Pinch of fine sea salt (optional, enhances flavor)
Instructions
Prep & Preheat: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easy cleanup.
Cut the Biscuits: Separate the biscuits and cut each one into 4–6 small wedges (like mini scones). Smaller pieces = crispier results.
Melt the Butter: In a microwave-safe bowl or small saucepan, melt the butter completely. Set aside.
Make the Cinnamon Sugar: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt (if using). Stir well to evenly distribute the spice.
Coat the Bites: Dip each biscuit wedge into the melted butter, letting excess drip off, then toss gently in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated. Place on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each piece.
Bake: Bake for 14–18 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through, until the bites are deep golden brown and crisp around the edges. The exact time depends on biscuit size—smaller pieces bake faster.
Cool Slightly & Serve: Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes. They’re best enjoyed warm, when the sugar is still slightly crackly and the insides are tender.
