π Ingredients
β’ 4 cooked chicken breasts (or 1 whole chicken)
β’ 4 cups crumbled cornbread
β’ 1 onion (chopped)
β’ 1 celery stalk (diced)
β’ 4 boiled eggs (chopped)
β’ 2 cups chicken broth
β’ 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom/chicken/celery soup
β’ ΒΌ tsp salt
β’ Β½ tsp pepper
β’ Β½ tsp poultry seasoning (optional)
β’ 2 tbsp melted butter
Gravy:
β’ Β½ cup butter
β’ Β½ cup flour
β’ 1 qt chicken stock
β’ β
cup heavy cream
β’ Salt, pepper & pinch cayenne
π Mix together, pour into a greased 13Γ9 dish, and bake at 350Β°F for 40β50 minutes. For gravy: whisk Β½ cup butter with Β½ cup flour, slowly add 1 qt stock & β
cup cream, and simmer till thick. Serve casserole topped with warm gravy.
