🌟 No-Bake Marshmallow Slice 🍬
Ingredients
For the Base:
2 cups crushed digestive biscuits (or graham crackers)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
For the Marshmallow Layer:
3 cups mini marshmallows
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup milk
For the Topping:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
Prepare the Base
In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed biscuits, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a lined 8x8-inch baking dish. Chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the next layer.
Make the Marshmallow Layer:
In a saucepan, combine the mini marshmallows, butter, and milk. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
Pour the marshmallow mixture over the chilled biscuit base, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Return the dish to the refrigerator to set for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare the Chocolate Topping:
In a heatproof bowl, combine the chocolate chips and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Alternatively, you can melt the mixture using a double boiler.
Assemble the Slice:
Pour the melted chocolate over the set marshmallow layer, spreading it evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate is firm.
Serve:
Once set, remove the slice from the dish using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
