1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped 🌿

Instructions

Season the Steak: Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Rub it with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes to ensure even cooking. ⏳
Sear the Steak: Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tbsp olive oil. Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (135°F/57°C). Remove and let it rest on a cutting board. 🥩
Prepare the Skillet: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly across the bottom. Let it melt and get slightly crispy, about 2 minutes. 🧀
Cook the Eggs: Add butter to the skillet, then crack the eggs over the cheese. Cook sunny-side-up for 3-4 minutes until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. 🍳
