Loaded Beef Burritos with Cheddar Cheese

Ingredients:

For the Filling:

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup beef broth or water

1 tbsp tomato paste

1/2 cup chopped fresh tomatoes

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)

For the Burritos:

3 large flour tortillas

1/2 cup chopped fresh lettuce

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup sour cream (optional)

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions:

Cook the Beef Filling:

In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned.

Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.

Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Add beef broth and tomato paste, simmer for 5–7 minutes until the mixture thickens. Stir in fresh tomatoes and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Prepare the Burritos:

Warm the flour tortillas in a dry pan or microwave for a few seconds.

Spoon a generous portion of the beef mixture onto each tortilla.

Add chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream, if desired.

Roll up the tortillas tightly, folding in the sides as you go.

Melt the Cheese:

Place the wrapped burritos in a pan or oven-safe dish. Top each burrito with a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese.

Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.

Serve:

Serve the burritos on parchment paper, garnished with fresh cilantro for added color and flavor.

Enjoy immediately while the cheese is oozy and warm!
