Garlic Parmesan Lemon Pepper Wings 🍗🍋🧄
Ingredients:
12 chicken wings (drumettes or flats, your choice)
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your air fryer for cooking.
Pat the chicken wings dry using paper towels to remove any moisture.
Season the wings with salt, pepper, lemon pepper seasoning, and garlic powder. Toss to coat the wings evenly.
Drizzle olive oil over the wings and toss again to ensure all wings are coated.
Step 2: Cook the Wings
Oven Method: Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
Air Fryer Method: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook the wings for 20-25 minutes, shaking halfway through until golden and crispy.
Step 3: Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce
While the wings are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and a pinch of garlic powder. Stir well until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat.
Step 4: Toss the Wings in the Sauce
Once the wings are crispy and golden, place them in a large bowl.
Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings and toss to coat them well.
Step 5: Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle the wings with freshly chopped parsley and an additional pinch of lemon pepper seasoning, if desired.
Serve the wings hot, and enjoy your Garlic Parmesan Lemon Pepper Wings with a side of dipping sauce or fresh vegetables.
Pro Tip: If you like extra crunch, finish the wings with a quick broil for 2-3 minutes after tossing them in the sauce to get the cheese slightly crispy! 🍋🧄
