🥩🧀 Philly Cheesesteak Pasta 🍝
🛒 Ingredients:
12 oz pasta (penne or rotini work well)
1 lb ground beef or thinly sliced steak
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp flour
2 cups beef broth
1 cup milk
1 ½ cups shredded provolone cheese (or mozzarella)
Salt and pepper to taste
👩🍳 Directions:
Cook the Pasta:
Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Sauté the Veggies & Meat:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Add onions and bell pepper, sauté until soft. Add garlic and cook 1 more minute. Add ground beef or steak and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
Make the Sauce:
Sprinkle flour over the meat mixture and stir for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in beef broth and milk. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Add Cheese & Pasta:
Stir in shredded cheese until melted. Add cooked pasta and mix well. Simmer on low heat for 2–3 minutes to let flavors blend.
