Plant-Based Eggnog with Classic Nutmeg Flavor
Ingredients:
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup canned coconut milk
- ¼ cup maple syrup or agave syrup
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of turmeric (optional, for color)
- Nutmeg for garnish
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine almond milk, coconut milk, maple syrup, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, and turmeric. Blend until smooth.
2. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and heat over medium-low, stirring occasionally, until warm (do not boil).
3. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
