Game Day Fried Chicken Wings

~~Ingredients ~~
2 lbs. chicken wings
1 cup flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon Lawreys seasoning salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon hot sauce, optional
Peanut oil for frying

~~Instructions ~~
After cleaning your wings, season them with onion powder, seasoning salt and pepper. Toss them around to make sure they are well coated. Let set aside at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, whisk two eggs and add your buttermilk and hot sauce to the eggs, whisk to mix well. In another bowl, add the flour and cornstarch and combine. In a deep fryer, or a deep skillet, bring your oil to a temp of 360 degrees.
Dredge your chicken in the buttermilk mixture, then into the flour mixture and fry for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on the size of the wings. When you bring them out of the hot oil, hit them with a little salt and pepper while they are still hot.
