Halloween Vampire Fudge
Ingredients:
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Red and black gel food coloring
- 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (for the bottom layer)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions:
1. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
3. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to set.
4. In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over low, stirring constantly until smooth and fully melted.
5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
6. Divide the white chocolate mixture into three portions. Leave one portion plain, mix red gel food coloring into the second portion to create a bright red color, and mix black gel food coloring into the third portion for a dark black hue.
7. Dollop spoonfuls of each colored fudge over the set chocolate base in a swirling pattern. Using a toothpick or skewer, gently swirl the colors together to create a marbled vampire effect.
8. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until completely firm.
9. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and cut into squares to serve.
