Fried shrimp
Ingredients :
Shrimp eggs flour garlic
Seasonings: salt, ground pepper, oyster sauce, fish sauce
Instructions :
Marinate the prawns :
Peel and Guess the Shrimp. In a bowl, mix the shrimp with minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, a pinch of salt and ground pepper. Stir well and let marinate for 20 minutes.
Prepare the dough:
In a bowl, combine 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons of flour, a pinch of salt and ground pepper. Whip it till it's smooth.
Frire :
Dip each marinated shrimp in the batter, then fry in hot oil. Once the shrimp are slightly golden brown, remove and drain the excess oil.
Heat the oil until hot again, then fry the shrimp a second time until both sides are crispy.
Double-frying ensures that the outer layer stays crispy while the inside stays tender, juicy, and doesn’t get soggy even after a while.
