ONE-POT STEAK TIPS WITH SPICY PARMESAN LINGUINE
Ingredients:
1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized tips
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp chili flakes (adjust for spice level)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
12 oz linguine pasta
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)
Directions:
1. Cook the Steak Tips: Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Season the steak tips with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and chili flakes. Add the steak to the pot and sear until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the steak tips and set them aside.
2. Prepare the Linguine: In the same pot, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Add the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Add the linguine pasta, making sure it's submerged in the liquid. Cook according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has absorbed.
3. Make the Spicy Parmesan Sauce: Once the pasta is cooked, reduce the heat to low. Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, allowing the sauce to thicken and become creamy. Add the cooked steak tips back into the pot and toss everything together, making sure the steak and pasta are well-coated in the spicy Parmesan sauce.
4. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and extra grated Parmesan cheese. Serve hot and enjoy!
