My mother made this cupa cupa cupa cobbler all the time when I was growing up!"
Ingredients:

1 cup self-rising flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter

2 cups fruit (peaches, berries, or cherries work great)

Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place butter in a 9x9 baking dish and let it melt in the oven. Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and milk until combined (don’t overmix). Once the butter is melted, carefully pour the batter into the dish without stirring. Spoon the fruit evenly over the top—again, do not stir. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling. This old Southern classic is called “Cupa Cupa Cupa” because it’s just 1 cup of everything! Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the ultimate comfort dessert.
