M&M's Ferrero Oreo Roll Cake
A decadent and indulgent dessert that combines the flavors of M&M's, Ferrero Rocher, and a classic cinnamon roll.
Ingredients:
For the dough:
1 cup warm milk
1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 teaspoon salt
For the filling:
1/2 cup Nutella
1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
1/4 cup chopped M&M's
For the frosting:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
Instructions:
Make the dough: In a small bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of the granulated sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes, or until foamy.
Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, remaining sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and stir until a dough forms.
Knead: Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Make the filling: In a small bowl, combine Nutella, chopped hazelnuts, and chopped M&M's.
Assemble: Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Spread the filling evenly over the dough.
Roll: Roll up the dough tightly.
Cut: Cut the roll into 12 slices.
Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the cinnamon rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Glaze: While the rolls are still warm, drizzle with powdered sugar glaze.
