Italian Cream Cake 🍰
Ingredients:
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup shortening
• 2 cups sugar
• 5 eggs (separate yolks and whites)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 ½ cups flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 cup shredded coconut
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 8 oz cream cheese
• ½ cup butter (for frosting)
• 4 cups powdered sugar
Instructions:
1️⃣ Cream butter, shortening, and sugar until fluffy. Add yolks and vanilla.
2️⃣ Mix flour and baking soda, add alternately with buttermilk.
3️⃣ Fold in coconut and pecans.
