Cheesy Garlic Butter Penne with Savory Ground Beef
Ingredients:
8 ounces penne pasta
1 pound ground beef
3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Directions:
1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set it aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic becomes fragrant.
3. Add the ground beef to the skillet with the garlic. Cook the beef until it is browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Season the beef with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir the mixture to combine all the ingredients. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
5. Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese, allowing it to melt into the sauce while stirring until fully incorporated.
6. Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet. Toss the pasta in the creamy, cheesy sauce until it is evenly coated.
7. Sprinkle the dish with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
