🇮🇹 Malloreddus (Sardinian Gnocchi) 🍝🍅🌿
A traditional Sardinian pasta dish with a rich tomato and sausage sauce!
Ingredients:
2 cups malloreddus pasta
1/4 pound sausage
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
Instructions:
1️⃣ Sauté the sausage, breaking it apart until browned. Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ In the same pan, cook onion and garlic until soft. Add tomato sauce and fennel seeds.
3️⃣ Simmer the sauce for 15 minutes, then return the sausage.
4️⃣ Cook the malloreddus, drain, and mix with the sauce. Serve hot!
