⢠Egg yolks: 2
⢠Vanilla extract: 1 tsp (5 ml)
⢠Oil: For frying
⢠Custard or jam: 1 cup (240 ml), for filling
Instructions:
1. Combine flour, sugar, yeast, milk, butter, egg yolks, and vanilla to form a soft dough. Let rise until doubled.
2. Roll dough, cut into circles, and let rise again.
3. Fry in hot oil until golden, then coat in sugar. Cool slightly and fill with custard or jam.
