Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup pastel M&M’s or candy-coated chocolate eggs (plus extra for topping)
1/4 cup pastel sprinkles (optional)
Instructions:
1.Make the Cookie Dough:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips, pastel M&M’s, and sprinkles if using.
2.Scoop and Bake:
Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
Press a few extra M&M’s or mini eggs on top of each cookie for a festive look.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are just set.
Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
