Hot Fudge Pudding Cake 🍫🔥

📋 Ingredients
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar (divided)
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (divided)
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter (melted)
- 1 Large Egg Yolk
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Boiling Water
📝 Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) & grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
2. In a small bowl, whisk 1/2 cup sugar & 1/4 cup cocoa. Set aside.
3. In another bowl, whisk flour, remaining sugar, remaining cocoa, baking powder & salt.
4. In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, egg yolk & vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
5. Spread batter into the pan, then sprinkle with reserved cocoa-sugar mix.
6. Gently pour 1 cup boiling water over the batter (do not stir!).
7. Bake for 22-24 min until the top is cracked & sauce is bubbling.
8. Let sit 10 min, then serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
