STRAWBERRY BANANA CREAM LAYER CAKE
For the Base:
1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
5 tbsp melted butter
For the Layers:
1 box vanilla or sponge cake mix (or store-bought pound cake slices)
2 cups banana pudding (homemade or instant)
2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
2 bananas, sliced
3 cups whipped cream or stabilized whipped topping
1 cup sweetened cream cheese filling (optional, for extra creaminess)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Base:
Mix graham crumbs and butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan or rectangle tray. Chill.
2. Bake the Cake (if using box mix):
Prepare and bake the vanilla cake according to box instructions. Let cool and slice horizontally into thin layers.
3. Assemble the Layers:
Bottom Layer:
Spread a thin layer of whipped cream over the crust.
Add a layer of sliced vanilla cake.
Cream & Fruit Layers:
Spread banana pudding.
Add a layer of banana slices.
Add a layer of whipped cream.
Add another cake layer.
Spread a layer of sweetened cream cheese (optional).
Add sliced strawberries.
Add another cake layer and repeat the cream and fruit layers until full.
4. Top Layer:
Finish with a thick layer of whipped cream. Decorate with whole strawberries, banana slices, and crushed vanilla wafers or meringue.
5. Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set and blend the flavors.
