🍎🇫🇷 Croustade aux Pommes
A rustic apple dessert from Gascony, made with thin flaky layers of pastry, apples, and sugar, baked until golden and crisp 🍏🥧.
Ingredients:
• 4 apples (thinly sliced)
• 250 g filo pastry (or thin dough)
• 100 g butter (melted)
• 100 g sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions:
1️⃣ Layer filo sheets in a buttered dish, brushing each with melted butter.
2️⃣ Add a layer of apples and sprinkle sugar + cinnamon.
3️⃣ Repeat layers until all used.
4️⃣ Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40 min until golden.
5️⃣ Dust with icing sugar and serve warm 🍽️.
