Chocolate Lasagna
Ingredients:
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups cold heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package (14 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine crushed chocolate sandwich cookies with melted butter. Press mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish to form the crust. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
5. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cookie crust in the dish.
6. In another bowl, whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
7. Spread the chocolate pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer.
8. Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over the pudding layer.
9. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top layer.
10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm before serving.
