Chocolate M&M's and Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 package chocolate chip cookie dough (about 16 oz)
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 cup M&M's candies
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/4 cup crushed chocolate cookies or crumbs (optional)
Directions:
1. Line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
2. Press half of the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the pan to form a base layer.
3. Spread the softened vanilla ice cream over the cookie dough layer, smoothing it out evenly.
4. Sprinkle half of the M&M's and mini chocolate chips over the ice cream layer.
5. Drizzle half of the chocolate syrup over the candies and chips.
6. Crumble and sprinkle the remaining cookie dough over the ice cream layer.
7. Add the rest of the M&M's and mini chocolate chips on top.
8. Drizzle the remaining chocolate syrup over everything.
9. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
10. Before serving, remove the cake from the pan and top with whipped cream and crushed chocolate cookies if desired.
