๐Ÿ’š Grinch Popcorn ๐Ÿฟ
Ingredients

For the Base

10 cups plain popped popcorn (air-popped, stovetop, or unsalted microwave)
Salt, to taste (about ยฝโ€“1 tsp, depending on preference)
For the Marshmallow Glaze

3 tablespoons unsalted or salted butter
3 cups mini marshmallows
For Coloring & Mix-Ins

3โ€“4 drops yellow food coloring
1 tiny drop blue food coloring (to create โ€œGrinch greenโ€)
ยฝ cup additional mini marshmallows
ยฝ cup red M&Mโ€™s (or red candy-coated chocolates)
Instructions

Pop and season: Prepare 10 cups of plain popcorn. Remove any unpopped kernels, then sprinkle generously with salt while still slightly warm so it adheres well. Set aside in a large mixing bowl.
Melt the glaze: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add 3 cups of mini marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smoothโ€”about 3โ€“4 minutes. Immediately remove from heat.
Color the mixture: Stir in yellow food coloring until the mixture is bright yellow. Then add a single small drop of blue food coloring and mix until you achieve a vivid, festive green. Adjust with tiny drops if needed, but go slowlyโ€”blue intensifies quickly.
Coat the popcorn: Pour the warm green marshmallow mixture over the salted popcorn. Using a silicone spatula or greased spoon, gently fold until most pieces are lightly coated. Add more glaze if you prefer a stickier texture, but avoid over-saturating.
Add festive mix-ins: While the popcorn is still warm and tacky, transfer it to a parchment- or silicone-lined baking sheet. Scatter the extra mini marshmallows and red M&Mโ€™s evenly over the top, pressing lightly so they adhere.
Set and serve: Let cool at room temperature for 10โ€“15 minutes until the glaze firms up. Break into clusters and serve immediately, or store in an airtight container.
